Child dedications are special occasions in the life of our church where parents bring their children before the Faith-Family and commit to nurturing them in an environment of love and fear of God. We are excited to announce that our next Child Dedication ceremony will be held on Sunday, January 18, 2026 as part of our Morning Worship Service.
We are scheduling these ceremonies twice a year for anyone who would like to participate. If you would like to have your little one dedicated during this service, we welcome you to sign up for this event. We look forward to celebrating this meaningful moment with you and your family!
Parents, if you are interested in having your baby or child dedicated during this service, please register for this event by December 28!
This class is designed for those who are newly attending or visiting CBC. It’s a great opportunity to learn more about who we are, what we believe, how to get connected with our faith-family, and to ask any questions you may have. No need to sign up, just come!
This class will be held the first Sunday of each month at 9:00am in the Library (inside the main front entrance)..
Ladies, this is a time for women to meet and have intentional discussion at their tables with coffee, tea and light refreshments. We will be meeting on the 3rd Saturday of September, November, February, April and May this coming school year.
This year we will be using a book, “Sincerely Stoneheart”, for our discussions. Now you can get the book and read the chapter ahead of time BUT we want to stress that you DO NOT need to read ahead of time in order to be able to come to Coffee & Conversation! The week before Coffee & Conversation, we will be posting an audio recording of the chapter for you to enjoy listening to on your own time. We will also be listening to the reading as a group before we begin discussion at the Coffee & Conversations.
Please come for a time for women to intergenerationally gather, encourage each other, and talk through deep and meaningful topics. Take the time to connect with the women of our church and build on what our faith-family means..
Please RSVP to the office at office@cbcmj.com.

You can choose to meet at church or at the nursing home, then harmonize (or sing in unison) with faith-family members in singing the Gospel of Jesus Christ and his birth to folks who desperately need the encouragement. For those who are able, we will then meet back at the church for coffee, cocoa, and Christmas treats. Stay tuned for more details!
All those age 60+, join us for a time of fellowship, good food, and festive singing as we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Kris Hess and Tina Wolgemuth will delight us with Christmas music and lead us in singing Christmas carols. A voluntary gift exchange will be held for those who choose to participate. Please bring a WRAPPED gift (suggested $5-$10 range). Dress festively and bring your singing voice!
Please RSVP on Realm or at the Information Center by December 10.

Men today face unique challenges, pressures, and questions:
Why is it so hard to live an authentic Christian life?
Who will show me how to thrive as a father, husband, and worker?
What should I do when I’m tested to the breaking point?
In How God Makes Men, author Patrick Morley takes us through ten epic stories of the Bible’s most talked-about men, drawing out ten proven principles that reveal how God works in a man’s life—and how you can cooperate with Him in yours.
This is more than a study—it’s an invitation to discover God’s way for you to become the man He created you to be. You’ll find encouragement, challenge, and practical wisdom to help you prevail in tough times and live with purpose in every area of life.
Come be sharpened by God’s Word and the fellowship of brothers in Christ.

“Show hospitality to one another...” 1 Peter 4:9
Hospitality.
We all enjoy it and here’s an easy way to extend it! The “Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner” event has become a fun tradition of practicing hospitality within our Faith-Family.
You are invited to participate in our Eleventh Annual “Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner” on Sunday, October 26, 2025 at 5:00 p.m.
Here’s how it works:
1) Fill out a form and place it in the box at the Information Center no later than Wednesday, October 15.
2) You will be assigned as a guest or a host, then be notified the week before “Guess Who.”
We encourage everyone of all ages to sign up. Young adults and/or singles may join together with a friend or more to be a guest. (Just be sure to put all names together on one form.) Guests may be asked to contribute some food or a dish for the meal. (We will let you know if and what you are to bring.) Hosts, it will be fun anticipating who your guests will be, and guests, it will be fun anticipating who your dinner companions are. So hosts and guests, keep it a secret!
Don’t be shy about signing up as a guest or host. Both are needed to make this work.
When hosts have been determined, guests will receive a call, or a note in their church mailbox with instructions about any item they are to bring to the dinner and the address of where they will be going.

Ladies, can you relate to avoiding the Prophetic Books of the Old Testament in your personal Bible study? Want to change that and study them in a way that allows us to “see Jesus in the Prophets?” Then come join us on Tuesdays for a 12 week study titled, The Word of the Lord, by Nancy Guthrie. We will experience "guided personal Bible study, relevant teaching and group discussion" to help us "gain a fresh perspective on the message of the Old Testament prophets and a broader understanding of Jesus as the fulfillment of Scripture."
Ladies, you can choose to come in the morning (childcare provided) or the evening. Please RSVP to the corresponding event post on Realm. John 1:45 says, "We have found him of whom Moses in the Law and also the prophets wrote, Jesus of Nazareth." Let’s study God’s word together!
Please purchase the book prior to the first study. Sign up by calling the office at 717-653-5857 or emailing office@cbcmj.com.
